Michael DeVries is COPILOT’s chief financial officer. He brings 12 years of healthcare and life science industry experience to the organization. Michael provides financial leadership, direction, and analysis across the organization as COPILOT grows and supports its life science partners by creating functional reimbursement and HUB services. Michael oversees company revenue, reviewing department budgets, forecasting, managing partnerships, analyzing spending, and improving employee benefits.

Michael has a proven track record of 20 years’ experience in finance. His most recent experience includes Blue Lantern Health where he served as CFO for over 8 years. At Blue Lantern Health, Michael played a pivotal role in growing revenue from $100M to over $400M and successfully led the company’s transition from public to private in 2020. He is known for his strategic and operational expertise, providing leadership on financial planning and analysis, revenue, accounting, analytics, and partner relations.

Michael earned his MBA from The University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Western Ontario.
